Member count

144 members are now successfully registered.
We are still obtaining news about registration confirmation mails being blocked by spam filters. Possibly some hosts reject all mails generated by software.
If you have registered as a forum member and have not received a confirmation with your initial password, then please check your e-mail client's and host service's spam blocker section to make sure that neither strato.com, strato.de (our host service providers) nor mirrordiscussforum.org are being blocked.

It is unfortunately not possible for non-admins to view the members list yet (at least I haven't found a way), nor is the software sending messages when someone posts a new comment or thread. We need to fix this and if anyone out there has configured a Drupal site and is prepared to lend a hand, please let me know!

As admin, I see that our numbers are increasing here and I hope that at least all the active members of the "old" forum will find their way here.
Cheers,
Gernot H.

19487 can you register on my daughter Lara Sundberg with crews David and Ida

I've just become the new owner of Mirror # 20819. She's a bit rough but only cost me $150 complete, so I can afford to do a few repairs. She won't be a gold plater but we can still have a lot of fun. Glad to be aboard.

Welcome Roostertaio-7. I hope you have fun fixing up 20819. If you run into difficulties, tell us here and perhaps someone will be able to help.

Hello and welcome on-line!
As the keeper of the "golden book" I am fascinated by the fact that many of the "new" entries relate to dinghies with low numbers, which means that they have survived decades of use, misuse or just storage in a barn.
Perhaps we should start a FIFO gallery with "Mirror of the month" on which we can show members' boats as the owners would like them shown.
Once again, as a reminder, if you do have pictures on a server accessible via the internet, you can post them here with a bit of html fiddling using the "img" tag as follows:
< img src="URL of your picture" width="80%" alt="descriptive text" >
The width value refers to the width of the picture relative to this column, i. e. 100% would be equal to the full column width. If no width value is entered, your picture may spill over the screen format, depending on its resolution and actual size in pixels.
