Dent

Do not bump your Mirror on a bolt on your trailer.

A dent WILL occur.

Don't ask me how I know.

I found a sailing club with a slipway which isn't steep enough to let me submerge my trailer in a way my Mirror floats off. Driving my car into the water might help submerging, but the danger than is that my car becomes a submarine. Also there is a ditch under water in which the wheels of my trailer will be stuck so therefore members of the sailing club did advice me not to drive to deep into the water, otherwise recovering of the trailer is going to be impossible.

Right.

So I drove my trailer not to far in, but this also ment that I had to push the Mirror of the trailer.
Well this slipway is indeed rather exposed and a lot of motoring and motorboats pass by.

So another advice: never push your Mirror of off a trailer when another boat is passing by a high speed.

Risk of dents in the hull is a possible result. And I'm very sure You will not like the sound of crackling wood.

Ah, and always bring along a roll of gaffer tape.

GRrrrrrr......
