Via the Facebook group "people who love Mirror sailing dinghies" , I have received news that the Wirral Ark dinghies project has been shut down, so you will no longer be able to buy boats or parts from there.
A local Scout troop has inherited a lot of the stuff and Ritchie Nield is offering some on Facebook (recently had two Mirror spinnakers). This helps keep the Scouts' other boats sailing.
A bit of bright news is that a group that is dedicated to trading dinghies and dinghy parts has emerged on Facebook, so if you have that item that was bought but unfortunately didn't fit after all and has been gathering dust in your shed or if you are looking for a missing bit, that's another place to look. Commercial participants are not welcome there, I believe, so the offerings should differ from those foung on e-bay, amazon and the like.

Well recommended Gernot!
As a member of this group I have been able to purchase used items for Mirror and other dinghies at very fair prices.
I believe the group membership is heading in the direction of 8000 and continuing to grow.
The administrators run the group in a scrupulously fair but firm manner and as you rightly pointed out, trade postings are barred.
Come aboard everyone!
