2017 Mirror World championships and UK national championships

Just in case you didn't know already: this year the World Championships are being held in Cornwall, UK, in conjunction with the UK national championships, between 22 July and 4 August 2017.
UK Nationals: 26th to 28th July
Worlds: 29th July to Friday 4th August
Location: Restronguet Sailing Club

Entries
Just a reminder - the closing date for entries is Friday 7th July. Entries submitted after this date may be accepted at the discretion of the Organizing Authority, and will be subject to payment of an additional late entry premium (£50 for Worlds or Nationals & Worlds, £20 for Nationals only). How to enter is set out on the event website.
It is possible to edit your entry form after you have entered (for example, if you need to change the sail number of the boat you will be sailing). To do this, login to Webcollect & find "My Tickets" on the left of your "My home" screen, click "Details of all tickets" to see a list of everything you have purchased. If you click the link in the right hand column, which is headed "Form", your entry form will open and you can edit fields and save the updated entry form.

Children's Entertainment - Pirates!

Part of the Children's Entertainment during the Nationals will be a light-hearted competition where pirates could either perform a dance or a staged sword fight (please be aware of health and safety). They may bring their own music or we can have one or two tracks available.

Six Nations will be represented>

Sailors from six nations have entered the 2017 Worlds - AUS, GBR, IRL, JPN, NED & RSA. We are looking forward to welcoming all our overseas & visiting sailors.

Opening Ceremony - Invasive species

Due to issues with invasive species etc., there will not be a 'mixing of the waters' at the Opening Ceremony of this Worlds.

Tee shirts, tops & hoodies

A range of tee-shirts, tops & hoodies which can be printed with your choice of logos, flags etc will be printed on-site during one day of the Nationals & during one day of the Worlds.
