My dad, a friend and I built Mirror 26465 Lucy Lastic in that friend's garage. It was supposed to be a gift from my parents for passing my O level school exams in the summer of 1971 at the age of 16. But the building of the boat was so fast, that, having driven to Bell Woodworkings in Leicester in January 1971 to pick up the kit, it was already ready to sail by Easter, so I had to make sure I passed those d*mned exams! (I did!). I wonder if she's still around....?
