My late father built and sailed Mirror 1593 from 1964 onwards - he named it ‘oomiback’ because of the back pain he endured making the kit. He claimed it was the first (or one of the first?) Mirrors on the water at Salcombe, which is where we mostly sailed it. I was only born in 1965 but sailed with him there and at various locations in the midlands and the Lake District. Unfortunately he sold it to a buyer unknown around 1990. I would love to know if it still exists - it doesn’t appear on the roll call but I thought I’d leave this post anyway. Thanks!

Hello and welcome!
You could and should edit the title of your request to "Looking for Mirror 1593"
Are you aware of the theme on the UK Mirror Dinghy Class Association site that handles such questions? If not, have a look at https://www.ukmirrorsailing.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=catego... . To add your request there, I believe you have to contact Martin Egan.
